Typing will always be a problem on a tablet. One thing that might help is the introduction of a built-in slide-out rear leg to tilt the device to the optimum degree and allow more comfortable typing. I already use a framework under my laptop to accomplish the same thing. You don't want to carry an extra piece of kit though, so it needs to be built-in.
